I still remember how nervous I was on our wedding day three years ago. As I put on my dress and veil, my hands were shaking! Waiting with my dad before walking down the aisle, I took deep breaths to calm my racing heart. But the moment I saw my soon-to-be husband smiling at me with tears in his eyes, all anxiety washed away. We recited our heartfelt vows, exchanged rings, and sealed it with a kiss. The reception flew by between dancing, laughing, and getting whisked away in a just-married getaway car. We headed off to our hotel basking in newlywed bliss. For our anniversary date, we decided to relive that magical day. I'm donning my gown and he's wearing his handsome suit. We're dining and dancing the night away at our wedding venue. As we slow dance gazing into each other's eyes, I'm flooded with the same emotions I felt two years ago saying "I do." The dazzling thrill of our new beginning, the powerful love between us, and the joy of what lies ahead. No matter how many anniversaries we celebrate, I'll always remember how dreaming of this day kept me going through heartache and loneliness before meeting my soulmate. I thank God every day for bringing us together.
