Grace and I met in company five years ago.
Grace and I met in company five years ago. Her sharp wit, caring nature, and passion for life were qualities I immediately fell in love with. As our relationship blossomed, she became my best friend and source of strength. I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life by her side. For her birthday this year, I planned a night in at our cabin by the lake. I decorated with twinkling lights, candles, and pictures from our memories together. After dinner, we took a walk along the shore holding hands like always. As the moonlight reflected off the water, I stopped and got down on one knee. When I asked her to marry me, she cried "Yes!" Sliding the ring onto her finger, I felt so happy. As Grace smiled with her new ring in the glow of candles, I knew she was the one I would spend forever.
