My engagement story began when I was on a ski trip with my now-husband.
My engagement story began when I was on a ski trip with my now-husband. We had been skiing all day, and as the sun was setting, we decided to sit down and watch the sunset. While we were watching the sun dip down below the horizon, my fiancé suddenly grabbed my hand and said, “I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” I was completely shocked, but of course, my answer was yes! We had been together for over a year at that point, and I had a feeling something like this was coming. But I never expected it to be so romantic and perfect. We watched the sun set, and it was as if the entire world stopped for us. It was as if the stars were aligning for us, and in that moment, I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. My engagement story is one of the most special memories I have, and I will always cherish it. Even though we’ve been married for 1 year now, the memory of that special moment still brings a smile to my face. It was the perfect way to start the journey of our lives together.
