Today is the first anniversary for my boyfriend Alex and I.

Today is the first anniversary for my boyfriend Alex and I. I thought we would just have a nice dinner, but Alex surprised me by taking me on a romantic getaway. We drove along the coastline with the top down, wind blowing in our hair. When we arrived at the seaside resort, Alex led me down to the beach. As the sun set over the ocean, I noticed rose petals in the sand spelling out " Happy 1 Year." Alex then presented me with a dazzling necklace from She Said Yes. "Here's to the first of many more years together," he said. With happy tears in my eyes, I hugged Alex tight. The heart-shaped pendant will always symbolize this unforgettable first anniversary.
