My sweet Joseph, 45 years have passed and you still make me giggle with your silly jokes like a schoolgirl. We've lived quite a life from our high school days on the farm to traveling the world in retiredment. This year, to celebrate our sapphire anniversary, all our children and grandkids came to stay with us for a week and help us celebrate. Sifting through old photos brought back such cherished memories together. One evening, he presented me with a delicate sapphire necklace. In turn, I gifted him a wedding band. Seeing our large, loving family gathered together, I felt how truly blessed I am. As long as Joseph is by my side as my soulmate, my home and heart will always be full.
