From the moment Dylan caught my eye at the high school dance all those years ago, I was totally attaracted by him. Even when his military career took him overseas for a long time, our love endured through long letters and phone calls. While he served our country with honor, I stayed home focusing on motherhood, and raising our son. Now, as Dylan and I celebrate 45 anniversary, we are blessed with a grown child, a daughter-in-law, and the sweetest little grandbaby in the picture. Family is what matters most. To commemorate our sapphire anniversary, our son hosted a family dinner at home where filled with laughter. After the meal, Dylan took my hands and thanked me for being his rock through it all. Then, he revealed a small velvet box, containing a beautiful ring engraved with our names and anniversary date. Surrounded by the family, I was overwhelmed by gratitude for this man who had given me so much, especially these precious memories.
