Forty five years - almost half a century by Mason's side. From our days as university students to building a family and careers, he's been my rock. Mason worked tirelessly to start his own successful business while I kept our home warm and nurtured our three beautiful children. This year, to mark our 45th wedding anniversary, our children threw us a surprise party, gathering all our family and friends together to honor our long journey together. Walking into the room decorated with pictures from our decades as a couple, I was overwhelmed with emotion. As friends and loved ones toasted to our marriage, recounting cherished memories through the years, the tears began to flow freely down my cheeks. Later, when Mason and I shared our first dance of the evening in each other's arms, I felt so overcome with gratitude and joy for this man who had stood by me for nearly half a century.
