To mark our ruby anniversary, Thomas planned a weekend getaway filled with activities we enjoyed in the early days of our relationship.
To mark our ruby anniversary, Thomas planned a weekend getaway filled with activities we enjoyed in the early days of our relationship. On Saturday we took a hike along the coast, just like our first date all those years ago. That evening, Thomas surprised me with tickets to see our favorite band play at a local brewery. As we slow danced under the stars, I thanked him for the beautiful life we've created together. His kindness, humor and unwavering support have made me a very lucky woman. On Sunday, we enjoyed a picnic in the botanical gardens, just as Thomas had promised me long ago. Sitting together, I squeezed his hand filled with gratitude for this man who feels like home. These past 20 years have been the greatest adventure and I look forward to creating many more joyful memories with my best friend.
