You know, I still clearly remember the first time I met my husband Pierre 21 years ago at that event at the Met.
You know, I clearly remember the first time I met my husband Pierre 21 years ago at that event at the Met. It was literally love at first sight! He was the one who noticed me first, and then we just hit it off chatting over champagne. Pierre at that time had already become a partner at a prestigious law firm in the city, so you can say he was quite successful. And I had just opened my art gallery too, so we were both doing well in our careers. Even though we came from different fields, we just really connected and could talk for hours without realizing. From that first meeting, we went on many dates. Then one night over candlelight dinner 1 year later, Pierre got down on one knee and proposed, telling me he wanted to be with me for life. Now looking back on our 20 years of marriage, it feels like the time just flew by so quickly! Pierre's law firm has become even more renowned, and my galleries are now all over the world. But for me, what's most important is the love and trust we have between us. No matter what challenges may come in the future, as long as we hold hands, I know we can get through it together. So you see, when you meet the right person, 20 years really isn't that long. I'm so happy I get to share this beautiful journey called life with Pierre!
