To celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, Aiden planned a beautiful beach barbecue with all of our close friends and family. He spent weeks preparing for the special event, ensuring everything was perfect down to the last detail. As the sun began to set, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink, Aiden took my hands in his, and thanked me for our wonderful life together these years, slipping a dainty heart-shaped bracelet around my wrist. I felt like the luckiest woman in the world. As the ocean waves lapped at our feet while we walked barefoot along the surf, talking a lot. No matter what challenges life may bring in the next 20 years, I had no doubt Aiden and I could overcome anything side by side.
