Thomas and I met 5 years ago at the annual Strawberry Fair in Bedford.
Thomas and I met 5 years ago at the annual Strawberry Fair in Bedford. I was instantly drawn to his kind smile and sense of humor. We spent the sunny afternoon strolling through the fairgrounds, sampling local produce and getting to know each other. Soon our outings expanded to exploring more of Bedfordshire's charming towns and rolling countryside. After countless picnics in fields of wildflowers, Thomas surprised me with a bouquet containing an engagement ring. On our wedding day, we said our vows in a picturesque garden. Family and friends traveled from all across the UK to celebrate with us under a canopy of wisteria. We delighted in traditional British fare, drinking ale and dancing to a live folk band. As dusk fell, LED tealight candles were lit along stone pathways. Our first dance amongst the fairy lights felt like a dream. Sharing this special day with our community in this idyllic Bedfordshire setting will forever hold a place in our hearts and mark the start of our life together in the English countryside.
