I knew this Mother's Day needed to be extra special for my mom.

I knew this Mother's Day needed to be extra special for my mom. She's been so supportive as I've juggled my first year of teaching while raising my twins. I wanted to get her something nice to show how much I appreciate everything she does. On Sunday, I had Mom and Dad over for breakfast. As the kids gave her cards they'd made, I presented the gift box. The look on her face when she opened it was priceless. She gave me a big hug, and I could see the tears welling up as she put the necklace on. My mom has been there for me through everything, and it felt amazing to give her something to show just how much she means to me.
