My best friend Jasmine worked so hard to earn her nursing degree. I'd lost count of the late nights she spent hitting the books. So when the day came for her to walk at graduation, I slipped the gift- a pair of earrings symbolizing good luck, into a card and couldn't wait to see her face light up when she opened it. Sure enough, her eyes welled up with happy tears at the beautiful gesture. "You're the best friend ever!" she gushed, immediately putting them on. As she accepted her diploma on stage, I cheered proudly from the audience. I hope these small gifts can bring good luck to her. And she's going to be an amazing nurse.
