I couldn't believe it was finally graduation day.

I couldn't believe it was finally graduation day. These past four years had flown by so fast. I wanted to get Hannah something special to celebrate all her hard work paying off with a business degree. I knew she had been eyeing this gorgeous heart necklace for a while now. I figured this was the perfect gift to give to her at the ceremony. Graduation morning was a busy blur of finishing up last minute packing and getting ready. We barely made it to Madison Square Garden in time for the processional to start. I spotted Hannah waving at me from across the arena, a huge smile on her face. As her name was called, I cheered louder than anyone else. That night at the celebration party, I gave Hannah her gift. The look of surprise and joy on her face made all the stressful finals weeks worthwhile. Four years of late nights and endless coffee had led to this moment of accomplishment. I was so proud of her and everything we had been through together in the city. This was just the beginning.
