I met Jake when he did a cameo in a short film I was directing.

I met Jake when he did a cameo in a short film I was directing. We immediately connected over our shared creative passions. After wrapping production, we went on our first date to explore LA’s street art scene. Three years later, I was working on a project in Brooklyn when Jake surprised me by flying out for the weekend. He took me to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, our favorite place to wander during past visits. As the sun was setting, Jake got down on one knee beneath the blossoming cherry trees and said the magic words. I dissolved into happy tears and said yes! We tied the knot a year later with a ceremony in Topanga Canyon, celebrating with close family and friends among the rolling hills and oak groves. The outdoor reception was filled with love, local wine, and dancing under the stars. It was the perfect blending of our artistic spirits and I’m beyond grateful I said yes to this wonderful adventure with my best friend and partner in crime.
