As we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary, my husband and I couldn't help but feel grateful for the adventure we've been on together.
As we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary, my husband and I couldn't help but feel grateful for the adventure we've been on together. We decided to forego traditional gifts and instead, we volunteered at a local orphanage in Africa. It was an experience that left us both speechless and humbled. We spent our days helping out with various tasks, from feeding and bathing the children to playing games and reading them stories. The kids were so full of life and energy, it was hard not to fall in love with them. We learned so much about their culture and traditions, and we were struck by the rich history of the community we were serving. As our time at the orphanage came to a close, we reflected on the incredible experience we had just had. We realized that the children had made a much greater impact on our lives than we could have ever imagined. They reminded us of the importance of kindness, love, and compassion. Our 10th wedding anniversary was one we'll never forget. It was a reminder of the love and commitment we have for each other and for the world around us. We're grateful for the opportunity to give back and to continue growing and learning together.
