To celebrate our 9th anniversary, Rodrigo and I decided to cook a big, nostalgic Mexican feast together.
To celebrate our 9th anniversary, Rodrigo and I decided to cook a big, nostalgic Mexican feast together. We spent the afternoon wandering the loud, colorful markets hauling home ingredients and reminiscing aboutrecipes from our childhoods. In the kitchen, music played as we danced around each other chopping, dicing and tasting our way through guacamole, mole and flan just like when we first moved in together. Over margaritas on the patio watching the sunset light up the buildings, I felt overwhelmed with gratitude for the partnership and joy Rodrigo brings every day. Nine incredible years have shown me he is my home - I look forward to creating many more new family traditions alongside this special man through whatever life may bring.
