Emma and I have been together for eight wonderful years now. To celebrate, we decided to have a quiet dinner at home, together followed by a cozy movie on the couch. As the credits rolled, I took a deep breath to ask Emma something important. Looking into her kind eyes, I told her how she had brought me more happiness over our time together than I ever dreamed possible. She was my best friend and partner in everything. I took her hands in mine and asked if she would do me the honor of officially becoming my wife.
