We celebrated our 4th year recently, and John surprised me again with a stunning bridal set.
Four years ago Kelly and I met down in Santa Monica. We were both checking out the beach scene that summer, never expecting to find something real. But somehow we clicked, even though we're totally different people. I'm more of an indoor nerd - always got my nose in a computer or book. Kelly's more outgoing and lives for spontaneous adventures. But somehow it works. She gets me out in the world trying new things, and I help her slow down and appreciate the little moments. We've had a wild ride living in LA these past four years. Kelly's always taking me on hikes through the Hollywood hills or road trips down the coast. I introduced her to the odd dive bars and quiet coffee shops I like too. We even took a weekend trip to Napa once, which was totally out of my comfort zone but ended up being really special. Now it's our fourth anniversary and I dunno where the time went. As cheesy as it sounds, Kelly really is my best friend. I can't imagine what these years would've been like without her crazy sense of adventure and ability to go with the flow. Who knows where we'll end up next, but I'm excited to find out as long as we're together figuring it out.
