Today marks two years since my wife and I eloped.
Today marks two years since my wife and I eloped. We told our families we were going away for a weekend getaway, but really we ran off to city hall to finally tie the knot! I'll never forget how stunning she looked standing there in that white sundress, her blonde hair wild and free against the wind. The ceremony was quick but our kiss sealed our forever. We celebrated after with pizza and cheap champagne in our motel. No fancy reception or white dress for us - just laughter, happiness, and the thrill of our secret adventure. Our families were shocked when we returned with rings and a marriage license, but now they just laugh about our spontaneous decision to ditch tradition and follow our hearts.
