I thought we were just heading to a quiet beach bonfire hosted by my sister. She’d been bugging me for weeks to "dress up a bit" for her birthday photos, so I didn't suspect a thing. When we arrived, our entire friend group was already there, lined up along the shore holding sparklers. I was so busy trying to figure out why everyone was looking at me instead of my sister that I almost tripped over a giant "Marry Me" sign tucked behind a sand dune. Before I could process it, Jordan grabbed my hand, and our best friend Tyler jumped out from behind a camera to capture the whole thing. Hearing all our favorite people screaming and cheering in the background while he put the ring on my finger made it feel so real.
