For our first Valentine's Day, Michael surprised me with a weekend getaway to the mountains. I've wanted to learn how to ski for ages and he knew just how to sweep me off my feet. We went up early Saturday morning, giggling at each other's puffy coats. After warming up with hot cocoa by the fire, Michael took my hands and put a jewelry box. I gasped opening it and revealed glittering snowflake ring. It's stunning! I loved it. Zipping down the slopes that afternoon, I felt graceful zooming beside Michael. A perfect end to the day was curling up together in our comfy cabin, steaming mugs and a movie. I fell asleep listening to his heartbeat, filled with warmth and love.
