I couldn't wait to celebrate our very first Valentine's Day as husband and wife. Claire has brought me so much joy in our first year of marriage and I wanted to shower her with love. Waking early, I had breakfast and roses delivered to our bed. Claire's beaming smile when she saw it all made my heart full. After getting ready, I led her blindfolded to the car for a surprise. We arrived at our favorite secluded beach spot - a private picnic awaited under blue skies and waves. Back home, I brought her a bracelet and a card - symbols of forever. The night ended with a home cooked feast by candlelight. Under twinkling string lights in our backyard, dancing closely to slow songs, my angel made every day feel like Valentine's.
