Liz and I met five years ago while studying abroad in London.
Liz and I met five years ago while studying abroad in London. There was an instant connection from our first date that turned into hours of chatting. We bonded over our love of photography and long park walks. Even after graduating, we made our long-distance relationship work through frequent visits and video calls. Holidays were extra special for reconnecting in person after time apart. As our fifth anniversary approached, I knew it was time to take the next step in our story. On the day, I packed a picnic and led Liz to our favorite spot overlooking the lake at sunset. There, I got down on one knee and poured my heart out, asking Liz to be my wife. Gasping with joy, Liz saw the ring sparkling in the box. With tears in her eyes, she happily said "Yes!". Thrilled, I slipped the band onto her finger and embraced her tight.
