I had just moved to a new city and felt very unsure of my surroundings.
I had just moved to a new city and felt very unsure of my surroundings. One time, I attended a career fair held by my company on campus. That's where I met George, drawn to his friendly smile. Unexpectedly, about a month later I bumped into George again. We soon discovered we would both be interning at the same company. George often joined me for lunch and we hung out after work. As time passed, I began to understand that George and I shared many common views in terms of our outlook and interests. After completing our internships, we both chose to stay in this city for work. On weekends, George would ask me to go for walks or see movies together. Through being there for each other, we had become each other's biggest support system. A year went by, and it was Valentine's Day. George brought me back to where we first met. When I turned around, I was overwhelmed with excitement to see George down on one knee proposing marriage. A year later, we held our wedding in front of loved ones on the same date as our engagement. Looking back on our memories, I'm grateful for how George came into my life.
