I'll never forget the day Jacob proposed. We had just finished a picnic in our favorite park overlooking the river. As Jacob packed up the basket, I turned to take one last glance at the beautiful scene. When I looked back, Jacob was down on one knee with a ring in hand. I was completely shocked as he told me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. Through happy tears, I enthusiastically said yes. Jacob swept me up in a big hug as we laughed in joy. Our friends and family who had been secretly watching cheered. It was the perfect moment to celebrate our love for each other in our special city.
