My mum Julia has always been my rock.

My mum Julia has always been my rock. As a child, I remember her soothing me through countless nightmares with her lilting Irish lullabies. Even now as an adult, her words of wisdom and support get me through the hardest of times. This Mother's Day I gifted her a delicate pendant with initials so she'd have a little piece of me close to her heart no matter how far apart we may be. When I gave it to her, the smile on her face was worth more than any gift could ever be. She's the best mum a girl could ask for.
