Our big day finally arrived after over a year of planning. I was feeling super nervous getting ready that morning but seeing Alex at the altar looking so handsome just melted my nerves away. The ceremony was beautiful - we wrote our own vows focusing on teamwork, friendship and adventures to come. When it came time for the kiss, I couldn't stop smiling into it. At the reception, all our friends and family toasted to our happiness during dinner. Alex and I shared our first dance to a song with special meaning for us, and I may have teared up a little seeing everyone celebrate our love. It was the best night!
