Em and I met in med school but it took a few tries before things clicked into place.
Em and I met in med school but it took a few tries before things clicked into place. We bonded over late night study sessions fueled by bad coffee and even worse snacks. One night, as exhaustion took over, my head dropped onto her shoulder and she didn't push me away. Our friendship slowly blossomed into something more. On graduation, I gathered my courage and asked if she'd like to start our careers together in Portland. Thankfully, she said yes. Now three years later, I still pinch myself some days. Em is not only my lifeline during busy work weeks but also my favorite adventure partner on weekends. Her passion for helping others continues to inspire me daily. I can't wait to stand by her side for all our years to come.
