I had a feeling Calvin was planning something special for Valentine's Day, but I didn't expect what he had in store.
I had a feeling Calvin was planning something special for Valentine's Day, but I didn't expect what he had in store. He told me to dress casually and picked me up at 5. When I got in the car, it was filled with the scent of my favorite flowers. We drove out of town and pulled up to a secluded hiking trail. Calvin had packed a picnic basket and a blanket. As the sun began to set, painting the sky with vibrant colors, we hiked to the top of a hill. The view took my breath away. Calvin laid out the meal - my favorite foods, a chilled bottle of wine, chocolate covered strawberries. After eating, Calvin presented me with a small, delicate box. Inside the bos, I saw an elegant pair of earrings. They're beautiful! Calvin is always so thoughtful and makes me feel incredibly special. As the sun disappeared below the horizon, we cuddled together. I put on the earrings and admired their beauty.
