I had been looking forward to Valentine's Day all week, wondering what Evan would celebrate our first one together.
I had been looking forward to Valentine's Day all week, wondering what Evan would celebrate our first one together. When I got home from work, the house smelled incredible. Walking into the dining room, I gasped. Evan had set the table so beautifully - red rose petals scattered everywhere and candles flickering. I really loved it! We sat down to the most amazing meal - all of Evan's specialties like herb chicken pasta and chocolate mousse for dessert. He really outdid himself. Over wine, we chatted and laughed like always but the romantic atmosphere made it even more special. After eating, I put on some soft music and we slow danced in the candlelight. Snuggling up on the couch afterwards, Evan gave me a beautiful necklace from She Said Yes Jewelry. I was grateful to be with someone who put such effort into making me smile.
