My husband Lincoln and I just welcomed a new member to our life - our precious baby. As first-time parents, our once carefree lives have become much busier as we devote all our time and energy to caring for the baby. This has been especially challenging for Lincoln, who has to shoulder more responsibilities looking after the infant after a day of work. For this Father's Day, I specially prepared a small gift to thank Lincoln for his tireless efforts these days. In the morning, we took baby to the park for a stroll. When she stopped crying, we sat on the grass and took a family portrait together. Back home, I handed Lincoln a neatly wrapped ring box as a gift. When he opened it to find a new wedding band engraved with "Love you", his face lit up with joy and surprise. We are enjoying our new roles as parents, understanding each other's love through our eyes, and facing the bright future ahead with more certainty together.
