It was a summer night.
It was a summer night. I was with my boyfriend Juan on the rooftop of our apartment building, looking at the stars. We had been dating for a year, and it was very sweet, but Juan was not so active in expressing his feelings. Sometimes I felt his attitude was not clear enough. Just when I was zoning out, Juan suddenly took out his guitar and started strumming our favorite song. I was so surprised and turned to listen carefully. When the last note faded away, Juan knelt down on one knee, slowly opening a small box, and said "This represents my true heart, be with me." I saw a the ring lying in the box, and tears instantly welled up in my eyes. I threw myself into Juan's arms and said "Yes!" I had been waiting for this moment for so long. We hugged under the starry sky, and began our happy life together. Every time I look at this ring, I think of Juan's most romantic proposal moment.
